Projects

Complete life cycle

Forestalia develops a portfolio of 3.6 GW of renewable energy projects (wind, photovoltaic and biomass). We approach this portfolio during the entire life cycle of the projects:

  • We are promoters: we carry out projects in places with full guarantees of resources, in optimal areas for environmental, social and territorial viability.

  • We structure the business: we establish the necessary alliances to offer the ideal solutions that guarantee economic and financial viability.

  • We supervise construction: through solid strategic, technological and financial alliances, we implement the most appropriate operation model for each case.

  • We manage the asset: we perform the transactions and optimal maintenance of the operations.

Electric generation

0

MW for eolic projects

Eolic

Forestalia has 2.3 GW of eolic projects in its portfolio. Among these, 1.5 GW correspond to the auctions of 2016 and 2017. For this, it has a solid technological and industrial alliance with GE, a world reference company.

We will execute more than 70 projects by 2020, including wind farms and their electrical evacuation systems.

As a priority, they will be developed in Aragón, a community that has declared the activities of regional interest.

Electricity generation

0

MW for photovoltaic projects

Photovoltaic

The portfolio of photovoltaic projects of Forestalia is 1 GW. As a result of the July 2017 auction, Forestalia will develop photovoltaic parks that will add 316 MW.

Aragón and Extremadura are the regions where the facilities are projected.

Electric generation

0

MW for biomass projects

Biomass

Forestalia has a project portfolio of 300 MW in electricity generation through agroforestry biomass.

In addition, the area of activity on biomass includes the manufacture of pellets and energy crops, in which Forestalia has extensive experience.

Biomass has important environmental, territorial, social and economic derivatives. It is a renewable, manageable, CO2 neutral source that generates employment and development in the territory, and helps to combat the energy deficit derived from the importation of certain fossil fuels.
